Our Kingsbury Resort is looking for two permanent qualified Front Desk Associates (1 full-time and 1 part-time) to join our great team of employees.
Here at Kingsbury, we are all about creating a fun, relaxing Welcome Home environment for our owners and guests! Ideal candidate must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work weekends and holidays, while having the flexibility to cover shifts when necessary.
Position
Summary:
We have two available positions, one is part-time (not eligible for most benefits) and one full-time (eligible for benefits).
As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for owners and guests, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our premises.
The Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation and contributes to the overall success of our resort.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage the guest registration process including checking in/out guests, using the computer, and issuing keys.
Answer telephone/courtesy calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Research and provide information on local activities, dining, and attractions to owners/guests.
Provide VI program information and confirm reservations as requested by owners.
Dispatch guest's requests to other departments such as maintenance and housekeeping and follow up to confirm all tasks have been completed.
Maintain service request database.
Maintain operational files and data bases.
Requires data input, and filing.
Maintain petty cash transactions and bank.
Encourage owners and guests to complete a YOC (Your Opinion Counts) Survey.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
Familiarity with MS Office and general computer operation skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills in person and via telephone.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with owners and staff members.
Basic math, inventory, and cash handling skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands of the Position:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or occasionally lift 10 - 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
