Cocktail Server - Blu Nightclub On Call

Must be 21 years old and be able to maintain a Nevada Gaming Employee Card
SUMMARY: The Cocktail Server provides excellent service to all guests while taking and serving beverage orders. Handle all financial transactions accurately. Effectively market the venue during shift. Performs all duties in accordance with Company policies. In addition to hourly compensation, this position is paid commission at the discretion of the company, and is subject to be changed, modified, or terminated at any time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take beverage orders and relay them to the Bartender.
Collect order from Bartender, add appropriate garnish, place on tray.
Serve beverages to patrons in their designated area.
Serve as an Ambassador of the Company while working special/promotional events on property as directed by management.
Computes bills and payments for drink orders.
Requests identification from patrons, insuring that all guests are 21 or older.
Removes empty or dirty glasses, bottles and ashtrays and returns them to the bar or kitchen.
Maintains the cleanliness of bar areas and serve stations.
Responsible for assuring the highest quality guest experience by promoting the Thoughtful Service Model throughout all areas of responsibility.
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to Departmental, and Company policies.
Other related duties as assigned including cashiering for the nightclub on occasion.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Three to six months of related experience and/or training in a similar food outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere. Must be able to work with the public and present a clean, courteous image.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must register and maintain registration as a gaming employee in the State of Nevada pursuant to NRS 463.335.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Ability read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to operate using units of American money and weight measurement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
