Count Room Rep- Full Time- Swing Shift

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible fordropping and counting the money that is pulled off the casino floor and otherrevenue sources
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Collectsand counts revenue from various drop sources per MIC and departmentalguidelines.
Counts,sorts and organizes all currency, coin, coupons, chips and paperwork from thedrop containers.
Retrievesdrop boxes from the storage area and appropriately stores all boxes and carts.
Loadscurrency counters, utilizes the counter interface, and collects, sorts andreconciles counted funds.
Strapsand hand-stamps money bundles.
Totalsall cash, coin, chips, coupons, other monies, and reconciling documents by shiftand by day/date.
Enterscount information into various PC based applications. Printing, signing all reconciling documentsand verifying their accuracy.
Loadsappropriate boxes into carts and pushes/pulls carts to designated areas fortransportation to the casino floor.
Whena slot machine is being played at the time of bill validator drop, usesexcellent guest service skills to assure the guest's satisfaction.
Accountsfor all Count Room keys and ensures compliance with MIC requirements.
Sorts,counts, rolls coin and delivers to the Cashier department.
Collectsand weighs tokens from arcade machines. Returns counted tokens to arcade change machines.
Collectsand counts currency from arcade change machines and takes meter readings.
Completesall paperwork accurately and delivers it to the appropriate department in atimely manner, including scanning of all relevant documentation.
Responsiblefor the loading of coin/currency and count of dropped funds for all the casino floor ticket redemption kiosks.
Communicateswith other departments and the Gaming Control Board to coordinate drop andcount schedules.
Communicatescurrency counter maintenance requests to vendor technicians and IT servicerequests.
Utilizesa pager to answer service requests from other departments as well as initiateand respond to internal communications with other Count Room employees.
MaintainsCount Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
Monitorssupply levels and requests supply orders.
Followssafety and security guidelines and adheres to department procedures.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
HighSchool Diploma or equivalent. Somecollege preferred.
Minimumof 6 months previous money handling experience
Previousexperience in performing related work preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
Literateand fluent in English
ExcellentMath Skills
Basiccomputer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and network skills are necessary)
Basictrouble-shooting skills
Mustbe able to perform tasks with high efficiency and accuracy
Aboveaverage organizational abilities for sorting money, chips, coupons and otherpaper work

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
