Lead Front Desk Clerk

Perform a friendly, professional, and timely manner check in and checkout processes.
Maintains knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, in-house groups and other situations affecting the reception desk's daily operation.
Maintains cash bank, and guest folios, ensuring all room charges and credits are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsible for assuring the highest quality guest experience by promoting the Thoughtful Service Model throughout all areas of responsibility. Handles and resolves guest complaints and concerns. Follows up to ensure matters are resolved quickly and appropriately. Informs management of unresolved issues.
Assists with the training and development of new and existing team members.
Monitors master key procedures and par inventory level to ensure security and restriction of access.
Works closely with the Housekeeping department to optimize the overall guest experience.
Regular attendance required.
Additional duties as assigned.
Assists with overseeing the front desk operations.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one year front desk experience required.
Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s).
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Good money management skills required.
Must be able to use Microsoft Office products, adding machine and credit card machine. Experience with LMS preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
