Table Games Training School

For persons showing a new interest in Table Games Dealing. Training on how to deal card games offered on the casino gaming floor. After completion of dealer school, the trainee will also be required to pass an audition for all games learned.
Trainees must commit to 4 to 6 weeks of training sessions? At the conclusion of the training sessions, trainee must pass an audition with a Casino Shift Supervisor or above to ensure that trainee possesses and exhibits all basic dealing procedures, game protection and rules of the game.? Will be trained on providing game instructions to guest when requested or as assigned in order to encourage game activity.
Will be instructed on complying with all dealing procedures listed in the property Dealer's Manual. Will be instructed on complying with all internal controls; comply with company and department safety policies, procedures and regulations. Will be instructed on complying with State Gaming Commission policies and procedures.
Will be instructed on protecting games from fraud and relay any suspicious activity or customer disputes to the floor supervisor.
Will be instructed to promote positive guest and employee relations.
Provide professional and friendly service according to standard service procedures, while promoting positive guest relations. Work effectively with other employees, vendors, guests and other visitors.
At completion of school and successful audition, will be responsible for dealing casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for MontBleu's Casino & Hotel guests.
Upon successful completion of training and transfer into a dealer position, trainee will be subject to a 90 day probationary period
Perform other duties as assigned by management

High school diploma
Must qualify for and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Work Permit.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic proficiency- Internet Explorer and /or other Internet Service Providers

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
