Human Resources Generalist-Full Time-Lake Tahoe

JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as a HumanResources professional under Employment. Also, key person for all Human Resources functional areas. Provides truly exceptional customer servicefor each guest to enter the Human Resources Employment Center.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Proficient in the following functionalareas of Human Resources; Employment and the Employment Center's Front Counterand Team Member Events.
Initiates a friendly greeting witheach guest to enter the Human Resources Employment Center. Smiles and makes eyecontact and display an upbeat and positive attitude during each interaction.
Creates an entertaining environmentfor applicants and team members.
Screens and qualifies top talent andschedule interviews for Employment Team.
Administer and process appropriate newhire paperwork and schedule for the New Hire Orientation Program.
Ensures all paperwork is processedaccurately and timely for HRIS Specialist.
Organizes, plans, and prepares for teammember events.
Assists with other Human Resourcesareas that may include; Training, FMLA/Risk, HRIS, and Benefits as required.
Respects and maintains confidentialelements of the position.
Initiates, owns, and follows up onprojects ensuring maximum accuracy.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
College degree preferred.
One to two years of Human ResourcesGeneralist experience preferred, with proficiency in the Employment area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Literacyand fluency in English, Bilingual preferred
Computerproficiency
Ability to type 50 words per minute.
Demonstrated ability to communicateeffectively with people on all levels.
Demonstrated organizational andplanning skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Able to take ownership of projectthrough completion.
Must have multi-tasking abilities.
Must have decision making abilities.
Able to react quickly and efficientlyto newly presented demands.
Abilityto uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations andrecognize standards required by a regulated business

PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTALDEMANDS:
Mustbe able to sit or stand for long periods of time (8 hours)
Visual and auditory range must includeimmediate environment.
Musthave the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary officeequipment.
Mustbe able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property including stairs andescalators.
Musthave the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
Positionsthat have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may berequired to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with theirduties, and may be subject to the same environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
