Entertainment Manager

SUMMARY: The Entertainment Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation and quality assurance of the Showroom, Concierge/Box Office, and Entertainment departments. Works in conjunction with leadership and Entertainment team in the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the enhancement of all entertainment venues and special events. Finalizes performance contracts and manages contract talent relationships. Supports leadership in concept development, stage management, coordination of creative team, talent booking and creative endeavors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for researching and booking acts for different venues on property including retail and VIP events.
Negotiate contract terms that are fair and within reason as to protect the company's vested interest.
Work with Ticket Master and other vendors to ensure smooth operation at the Concierge/Box Office.
Handles off hour special needs of entertainers and road managers within confines of entertainment contracts.
Coordinates and communicates with all relevant departments for entertainment events.
Maintains card stock inventory for tickets in compliance with Nevada Regulations.
Responsible for managing direct reports to include hiring, efficient staffing, coaching, developing and termination of direct reports. Determines manpower requirements of the Department and schedules accordingly ensuring adequate and efficient staffing levels.
Maintains seating inventory for show room in compliance with all regulations.
Serve as a liaison between multiple vendors and clients of events and exhibits to enhance relationships, increase revenues and promote a positive experience for all parties involved.
Responsible for preliminary close of show reports.
Responsible for assuring the highest quality guest experience by promoting the Thoughtful Service Model throughout all areas of responsibility. Handles and resolves guest complaints and concerns.
Other related duties as assigned.
S UPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the Concierge/Box Office and Showroom staff, including hiring and training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Regular attendance for scheduled work is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years related experience working in the entertainment field, preferably with experience managing the day to day administration. Must have experience supervising and/or scheduling entertainment operations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively read, write and speak English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Micros and Ticket Master experience preferred.
REASONING ABILITY
Planning, remembering details, using arithmetic, reading, directing others, making decisions, discriminating colors, working rapidly, working at various tempos, concentrating amid distractions, remembering names and faces, examining and observing details.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing, sitting, walking, reaching, kneeling, bending/stooping, observing, stretching, carrying, pushing, pulling, turning, hearing, lifting up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Inside, outside, noisy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
