Housekeeping Inspector - Full Time

SUMMARY: The Guest Room Inspector is responsible for conducting daily inspections of all assigned rooms and updating the Housekeeping and Front Desk departments as to the status of said rooms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts daily inspections of all assigned rooms.
Assists with cleaning rooms.
Advises Guest Room Attendants of VIP rooms, blocked rooms, and other notifications.
Ensure the cleanliness of each guest room, including the cleaning of hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, bed boards, etc.
Ensure cleanliness and appearance of vending machine areas and guest elevator areas on the floor.
Report maintenance problems to the Engineering departments on proper forms.
Report damage or theft of room to the Executive Housekeeper.
Regular attendance required.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Three to six months related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
None.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
None.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
