Swing Supervisor Engineering

SUMMARY: The Maintenance Shift Supervisor is responsible for the operation and performance of all aspects of maintenance and repairs to facility equipment, including preventative maintenance. Responsible for the overall operations of the Facility Operations personnel on an assigned shift.
Responsible for the operation and performance of all aspects of maintenance and repairs to facility, including mechanical and electrical equipment, structural and emergency alarm systems.
Schedules all routine maintenance and special project work. Ensures all work is properly managed and satisfactorily completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintains a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment on property under their scope of control. Ensures all work is completed satisfactorily and as scheduled.
Provides estimates on time and costs of projects. Ensures actual time spent and materials used are recorded accurately for each job and project.
Provides training in all required areas of knowledge and expertise.
Recommends and evaluates the need for new and replacement equipment for department use and facility operations.
Maintains a safe working environment, compliant with all OSHA guidelines.
Supervises the Facility Operations staff on an assigned shift. Responsibilities include hiring and training staff members; planning, assigning and delegating work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent. Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s).
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to write reports and read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, and POS systems required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
