Barista - Swing/Grave

SUMMARY: Responsible for the serving all products to guests, coordinating service with other employees, while complying with facility/department standard operating procedures to ensure the highest quality of guest service and satisfaction.
Creates beverages for guests according to established recipes and procedures and individualized requestes. Process all orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Delivers Legendary Service to all customers by acting with a "customer comes first" attitude and connecting with the customer. Responds to customer needs and says thank you to every customer.
Assist customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages.
Operate and balance computer cash drawer and take payment from guest(s) when assigned. Properly process transactions, involving cash, credit card or other forms of payment.
Adhere to all state, county, and federal regulations, and the Company's internal controls, policies & procedure
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all assigned service areas, seating, and storage areas
Maintain stock on service items and replenish as required
Must be knowledgeable of all the offerings at the Cafe and be able to educate guests on the products and services
Must follow the Thoughtful Service model at all times.
Regular attendace for scheduled shifts required.
Other related duties as assigned by management.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to work with the public, presenting a clean, courteous image.
Must be able to maintain a current Health Card or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
Must be able to operate Point-of-Sale system accurately.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
