Art Director

Freeman is seeking an Art Director with the ability to concept, create, edit and bring important creative projects across the finish line. Deliver quick thinking and innovative approaches to each project with ideas and solutions that make each assignment the best it can be. Work closely with the Creative Director to oversee our in-house designer and external design contractors. Take ownership of a project and shepherd it from the idea stage through the post-production process, meeting deadlines along the way. Additional duties include:
+ Create and design visual assets to be used in presentations, proposals & programs. Enhance existing presentation assets as required
+ Work closely with creative, graphics, and account teams to assist in the production of proposals and presentations.
+ Liaison with external agencies and freelancers where required.
+ Develop collateral to articulate service offerings reflective of both electronic and paper formats.
+ Fully support and work to instill the vision, mission, values and policies of Freeman XP in all staff, client, vendor and all business relationships.
+ Act as an important team member in contributing to the development and fulfillment of the short and long term strategic goals and objectives of the organization.
+ Read trade publications and continue to expand industry knowledge.
+ Remain knowledgeable about trends in technology that impact skills and output.
+ Retain proficiency with standard office support programs including, but not limited to InDesign and MS Office/Outlook, and other software programs as deemed necessary.
+ Maintain workflow in support of the organization?s internal projects, client projects and co-workers responsibilities in fulfillment of same.
+ Deliver superior, knowledge-based creative solutions, which exceed clients? expectations, are on target for clients? business objectives, speak effectively to target demo and are within budgetary and production requirements.
+ Provide effective team leadership in partnership with Producers, Client Services, Creative & Strategy keeping the project?s visual creative thread on track from concept through execution.
+ Present well to clients both internal and external through capability presentations, public forums, proposals and others as required by the needs of the business.
+ Work closely with clients, as necessary, and in-house client service teams from the proposal process through post-project debriefs.
+ Maintain expertise in all applicable Freeman XP service offerings.
+ Develop and manage relationships with a broad range of freelance creative resources.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
+ Minimum seven (7) + years? experience as a designer or creative role in corporate communications, agency, or production environment.
+ Experience within one or more segments of business-to-business communications, branding and marketing experience required.
+ Must have a keen eye for detail, writing ability, along with high standards of graphics and design are a must.
+ Must have a great grasp on presentation design packages; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote, PowerPoint and Acrobat.
+ Demonstrated to be enthusiastic, positive, and customer service oriented attitude.
+ Proven computer skills in all MS Office programs.
+ Ability to function under pressure with efficiency and grace.
+ Must be able to work in a fast paced high-pressure environment with C level executives.
+ Proven communication, presentation, and writing skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
